Hi, I’m Emily

I believe the best design disappears, when it works seamlessly and just becomes part of how you live.

I started as an Art major at the University of Michigan before realizing I also love solving problems, understanding people, and creating things both for function and desire. That pull led me to UX and interaction design.

I’ve always loved art

Creativity has always been how I make sense of the world, whether I'm doodling in a sketchbook, experimenting with a side project, or messing around with AI. What excites me most is the moment ambiguous research clarifies into a clear idea.

What excites me today

Within design, I work across research, ideation, interaction design, and design systems. With each of these steps, I enjoy focusing on intentionality. I've even ventured into front-end development, because understanding how and why something works only makes me a better designer.

The spaces I'm most drawn to are automotive, wearable technology, and customer-facing products, places where physical and digital meet and have a tangible impact on everyday life.

Outside design, you can find me...

Hiking on sunny days, losing track of time in museums, reading philosophy, or catching up with friends over coffee
